Description

In the "plugins" and "WordPress blog" there are around 30 PHP errors like this:
Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in C:\webserver\htdocs\wp33\wp-includes\class-simplepie.php on line 738
I'm using PHP 5.3.8

Still has the same problem on php 5.8.3. Hasn't been fixed yet.

Correct, #12367 is still unfixed. Re-closing as a duplicate for that.
