Description
After editing the date to show an earlier date in the post publication, press accept some times and then update, the date in the link really changes, but the links in the editor and the links in the blog changes to some date but not the one you wanted. This gets you to a 404 page.

Not sure about this part. When I change the date, I only have to click OK once.
My steps:
- Made a new post, published. The post permalink is /2011/12/test/.
- Edited the post date to September 21st, 2011.
- Clicked Update.
- The post permalink is now /2011/09/test/, still available.
Are you sure the issue can be reproduced with all plugins disabled?
