    1 I'll be honest, I've got mixed feelings about this. The way it's implemented now, each page would have the same meta description, which is a bad idea.     33However, having core output the meta description, with a filter in place, would make me happy as a plugin developer as that would mean themes would finally stop doing it. The same goes for meta robots and canonical etc. However, as it is right now, a definite -1 from one of the "SEO lovers".
