WordPress Export does not include Blogroll Links

Description

The XML dump created by WordPress export does not include any links or link categories from the Link Manager (Blogroll), even when All content is selected.

I would expect that these would be imported along with everything else, and don't really see why they wouldn't be.

Kinda sorta dupe? #6393

However, as blogroll is being removed, unlikely to be fixed.

I don't know if that's true. It's being removed as a default thing, but people should always be able to export and import their data.

I imagine they aren't included because they aren't a post type proper, like all the other content (posts, pages, attachments, nav menu items) that is exported via that process.

Probably dupe, you've got me there.

Exactly. It was very confusing to export "All content" from one site, import it into another and find that some content was missing.
