Twenty Twelve: change homepage widget areas to use columns or multiple areas instead of one big area

The resulting layout using the homepage template widget area with a TON of widgets is pretty terrible.

It's been suggested before (can't find the reference now) to use 2 or 3 columns instead, so they widgets line up better and users have more control over the layout.

Easiest way to do this is to split it into two widget areas.
