Please add "plugins" link under "my sites > network admin" in toolbar

Description

This would remove a click and I think a lot of people would enjoy the addition. I know I go to the plugins page more than users or sites combined.

Oh, yes. This would be very useful.

To be consistent a link for themes should be added then too. Or just use Snack Bar.

Themes aren’t changed as often as plugins. I’m fine with both, but I need the plugin link. :)

Adding themes and plugins, removing 'visit network'

Giving it one more option, what about adding themes and plugins, btu removing "Visit Network"? That just sends people to the main site, which is great for a network like WPCOM, but less useful when you're housing lots of un-related sites (which is the growing usage I've seen).

Moving to 3.7 for discussion.

Latest patch from Ipstenu adds 'Themes' and 'Plugins' to the network admin section and removes 'Visit Network'.

+1 from me, Visit Network always drives me crazy.

How about a link to Settings too? That would cover each of the top level menu items in Network Admin then.

I would argue this isn't needed. While it might be nice parallelism, pretty much everything on wp-admin/network/settings.php is set-it-and-forget-it, not a page you need to go to often for management and administration (which you do with users, sites, themes, and plugins).

A single site's snack menu only contains items under Appearance, also omitting Settings.

Is this still being added to core? I don't see it in the latest 3.8 trunk.

The "Plugins" and "Themes" links were added three months ago in [25120], if that's what you're referring to:

Thanks for clarifying. Talk about see what you want to see! I actually read the title as something different. Was looking for a ticket on adding 'Plugins' link to the front end WordPress toolbar.
