#21722 closed enhancement (fixed)

Twenty Twelve: Edit Post Link inconsistencies

Reported by: obenland's profile obenland Owned by: lancewillett's profile lancewillett
Milestone: 3.5 Priority: normal
Severity: normal Version:
Component: Bundled Theme Keywords: has-patch

Description

Edit Post Links get displayed in three different ways - I wonder whether it would make sense to streamline it:

  • Standard: Inline, after the entry meta
  • Aside, Link, Quote: block with a margin on top and bottom, between content and entry meta
  • Image: not at all

How about appending it to the post meta info on Aside, Link, Quote and Image formats, similar to Standard posts?

Noting that from the 2nd patch I made an exception for the content-image.php template, the edit link there is on its own line and not parct of the h2 element.
