    11This is in no way limited to JSON data - any time you have strings with backslashes in them and pass them to the `wp_insert_*()` methods, you lose data. This is why it's a bug.

     3I don't believe it's possible to test for this data - strings with lots of backslashes are perfectly valid and are not an indicator of slashes having been added or not.
