Description
It has been such a long time since version 2.3, does anybody really need a reminder for the existence of this tool on that relatively high profile page?

- Milestone changed from WordPress.org to Awaiting Review
Well, I guess there are two parts:
1) removing it from the importer list on api.wordpress.org
2) removing the reference from wp-admin

This link: http://screencloud.net/v/E38Q is very wierd.
Regardless of whether or not the importer is installed it takes you to the import page which lists all imports.
If we're going to leave it on the "import" page, which is kinda wierd since it's not really an importer, if the tool isn't installed it should directly open the plugin install window, and if it is installed it should go directly to the tool.

I would +1 the idea of removing it due to it not being an importer and also removing the reference in wp-admin. In saying that though, I'd be interested in the use cases that still need it. It feels like a very small/ not that large if any group?

I see nothing wrong with leaving it in the Importer list, or at least until the importer list gets a makeover..
I see no reason to keep it in the Tools section though, so +1 for removal from me.

If there's a ticket about revamping the Tools page overall that I'm not finding it would be great to cross-ref it here :) I am closing this because by default right now this is the only thing on the Tools page, so while removing it is not off the table, it would need to come with a broader rethink of that Tools page and guiding users to what they might want to do.
