Description

For some reason my plugin issues a zip file containing a readme.txt with a version 3.0.6 here:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/automatic-youtube-video-posts/

The file itself though has a version 3.1:
http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/automatic-youtube-video-posts/trunk/readme.txt

Any idea why this would be happening?

  • Component changed from General to WordPress.org site
  • Milestone Awaiting Review deleted
  • Resolution set to invalid
  • Status changed from new to closed

Your readme says Stable tag: 3.1 but there is no 3.1 tagged.

Good point. When I tagged the 3.1 the download URL would 404. I'll attempt the tagging again and see if it resolves.

  • Resolution invalid deleted
  • Status changed from closed to reopened

So after creating a tag of version 3.1 the files downloaded in the zip file still indicate a version 3.0.6. Any ideas?

You probably downloaded to early since I just downloaded 3.1 version. Generating the zip does take time.

I waited over 4 hours. I've never had issues like this with the WordPress SVN before.
