    77I have had to resort to an ugly and inefficient hack to ensure that the jQuery I want to use in my plugin does not conflict with the one used in WordPress or with the jQuery used by other plugins. And to attempt to have a plugin with a working lifespan longer than the WordPress and jQuery release cycles.
