Description

If I changed the color of a selected text the only way to revert the change is by using the "delete styling" button which is totally not obvious

If the idea is to add a "No color" option to the "Text color" menu, I guess it should be suggested upstream.

FWIW, "Clear formatting" button sounds like an obvious choice to me for removing text color.

Sergey, You make color change in one place and it is not obvious you need to revert it in another. From people not familiar with what setting a color does in practice, it is hard to expect to understand that "clear formatting" will do exactly what they want.

Maybe this is something that needs to be solved upstream, and I understand the drive to close tickets, but for the user it is a wordpress bug/strange behavior.

You can also remove the colour just by clicking on the same button again (not the arrow next to it).

If you really want to have the option to remove the colour from within the pop up panel, then it should be reported upstream.
