padding:0; on #head-search .button should do the trick.

Just confirming that this is still a problem, and also @koshenin has a fix that does work, which I also tested to make sure it didn't break other browsers: fixes Opera, and doesn't break any of IE8, Chrome, or Firefox.

Let's land and deploy that fix then.
