    1 Hi everyone,
     1TinyMCE 4.0 was released couple of months ago (2013-06-13). It has tons of improvements in all areas:
     2- Completely new UI.
     3- New, simpler and much faster dialogs.
     4- New and improved APIs and default plugins, better code quality, improved unit tests, etc.

    3 Do we have any plans on implementing Tinymce 4.0 into core?

     8As the UI API, the internal events API and the file structure have changed, most of the TinyMCE 3.x plugins [http://www.tinymce.com/wiki.php/Tutorial:Migration_guide_from_3.x need to be updated] to work with 4.x.
