Description
/new/category/news/ returned a 404
whereas /wp/category/news/ & /new/category/latest/ work fine!
this leads me to think that new / news was causing issues because of .htaccess?
if one has no idea why this error occurs (took me a while), it can cripple development of a site.

Closing as wontfix as the ticket is over a year old and it hasn't been described well either. Reopen if this is still an issue.
