Description

The quotes no longer display fancy Italic text like they did automatically on default before, check here, it's the first post under "New Beta3 -Updated":

Remember that since this is a new nightly build, there needs to be more stuff fixed.

Sounds like you don't have a blockquote tag, which is no longer being automagically added for you.

The <blockquote> tag was being added by get_the_post_format_quote(), which was removed in [24399] along with other Post Format template functions (see #24452).
