Description
this patch make possible to host multiple word press sites using just one codebase, using one database per site. it is partially base on the way drupal does multi hosting. unfortunately sites share the plugins and themes.

i think this functionality would improve wordpress a lot. could somebody guide me how to get this merged to wordpress?

You can try discussing it on wp-hackers as skeltoac suggested but I don't think it is likely to get merged - there is already WordPressμ which does this.
