    55It would be nice if we could finally have this project moving along again. Having ordering and a tree view of pages/posts etc would be of benefit for very many people.

     8One plugin really stands out WP Nested Pages: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-nested-pages/ With some modification of the plugin and it would fit right into core covering drag and drop and a tree branch view. It also has a more modern look then All Posts/Pages that exist in WP today and could also help modernize WP.
