Description

Hey everybody,

I'm not sure if this is a expected behavior but if you have only one metabox for one of the columns on the dashboard the class empty-containerwill be removed.

For me it looks weird because when you have two or more it shows up...

Attaching a patch to "fix" this behavior.

Been honest if this is the expected behavior, why?

I'm not qualified to say if it's intentional or not, but it makes sense to me. I see it as a suggestion to move a metabox to the empty column. If you only have one metabox displayed, it's not possible to fill the empty column without adding unwanted boxes. So in that case the empty container politely disappears.

I'd just as soon it never appears. If I want an empty column that's my business and the empty container mars the single column look. So I'm not in favor of your "fix". But I understand the need to illustrate to new users that something can go there, and how the disappearing behavior can seem odd.
