#27371 closed defect (bug) (wontfix)

Colour scheme other than default for active theme doesn't seem right

Description

With the default colour scheme, the footer is completely dark, while with other colour schemes two colours are used. It seems like only the darker colour should be used. See attached screenshots.

I agree, that doesn't seem right, but since it's been that way, will leave this as Future Release until there's a designer-approved change to be made :) Not sure just a dark overlay is the right way, either.

While it looks weird, its consistent with the rest of the UI. Not sure what can really be done here, except maybe applying the darker color all the way across the div, instead of having the light color behind the active: text
