I was able to replicate this. I attached a patch with a simple word-wrap: break-word;

It's not happening just on hover - the colors just blend together. Is this something we really should be compensating for?

Right, I should have mentioned it was all the time not just on hover. My concern and reason I think we should fix this is because some translations are long. While they may not overflow like the example they may slightly overflow. It would be good to get some input from someone more familiar with translations.
