Description
The button designs in MP6 have looked great and have fit WordPress greatly in the past few months. But I think some parts of the WordPress admin should/could start moving in a flat, more simplistic direction. This can be simply be started with a few minor tweaks to the very buttons that allow you to publish, save changes, etc. The current buttons have a box-shadow and a bit of a gradient look to them and I think we can go more simple that that. I think this will benefit the way WordPress is looked at. It gives WordPress a more modern, fresh feel. The amount of shadows on buttons and on button hover seem just a bit much. As I said before we can simply start with buttons and make them more flat (we could keep box-shadows, but make them cooler like in the preview changes button example below). Let's work together to make WordPress the best modern, clean, easy-to-use CMS of the future. I would like to hear what everybody thinks of this idea. I have attached screenshots for the proposed idea.

Clickable elements should look clickable. The current button UI is already very subtle, almost too much. Why should we flatten the buttons even more?

Perhaps I'm thinking in the wrong direction? But some of the buttons look a little "glossy" with that white border and the red. The shadows can stay and still have it look very clickable.
