I've thought about this a little and I would prefer not to, at least in that format. It disconnects the filters from the view, which in the case of the list tables, is less than desirable. I also think it's nice to differentiate between themes/plugins/media (your uploads, in a way) and post content. We may very well revisit how these filters look and operate at some point, but not right now.
