Description (last modified by ocean90)

When trying to upload media on mobile, we link to wordpress.org/mobile. We should change this link to the shiny, new http://apps.wordpress.org.

This can go into 4.0, if the last few bugs on apps.wordpress.org are fixed in time.

29496.2.diff is an alternative patch that links to HTTP instead of HTTPS.

apps.wordpress.org is currently hosted on WordPress.com, so will need to be moved over to WordPress.org to use the correct SSL certificate. If we don't get it migrated in time, we can put the HTTP patch into 4.0, and change it to HTTPS in a point release, after migration.

Unsure if the non WordPress.org look is an issue here. This because the only link to WordPress.org is in the footer.

It's not an issue. It's an official site (and the design and how it'll integrate with .org is still a work in progress).

This is a simple housekeeping item, marking for commit. We'll be making this call (SSL versus not SSL) based on the status of apps.wordpress.org just before release.
