Description

When editing a page and saving the changes, the page is converted to a post.

It works fine for me on my WordPress 2.1 based blog on SVN trunk revision 4021.

What revision are you running? You can find out by typing svn info.

I'm running revision 4017.

I just published a test page, went back in to edit it, saved it, and again it's changed to a post. Did it on two different sites running that revision just to make sure and the same thing happened on both.

Tracked it down. I was using the edit option on the WP admin bar plugin. Post pages it is sending to post.php instead of page.php
