#29904 new defect (bug)

Make images viewable while editing a gallery

Description

Ordering images in a gallery can be very difficult when you are limited to thumbnails. Users must switch back and forth between their post and their camera roll to identify each image and make sure each is in the proper place. Click/tap to view an image is a common pattern that is missing here. Some use it elsewhere to reassure themselves that they uploaded the right images and put them in the right order.

Yes. This ticket was opened during an effort to determine requirements for image flow. Full-width images is one of my refrains. :-) https://make.wordpress.org/flow/2015/06/13/the-media-modal-and-sidebars-on-phones/#comment-804
