Description

When viewing my version (1.2) I noticed that by accessing via index.php *all* posts showed, But clicking on general (cat=1) only posts showed that were supposed posted to that section.

I am assuming this is a bug!

doh! Admin > Options > Reading.

in that case, can I request that the front page has an option to be treated as, or redirected to a specific category?

Or is that in the realms of 'Dream on'?

There are several posts in the support forums as to how to show only one category on the index by default.
By default, the index shows posts from all categories, which is expected behavior

Which makes it sound like a possible future tweak? by adding the function to change default = 'all' to default = 'cat-id'?

  • Owner changed from anonymous to matt
  • Resolution changed from 10 to 70
  • Status changed from new to closed

This is not at all a bug. Closing.
