Horizontal scroll not visible before scrolling hits the document end

Description

After the editor started auto expanding vertically when writing content, if you insert large media elements that exceed the editor width the scrollbar isn't visible nor obvious until you reach the end of the document, the content just appears to have been cut

We can certainly add max-width: 100% for images and wpViews. The question is: would it be better for the user to see that they inserted too large size and correct it?

Also note that editor expand is disabled on mobile devices where this is a problem.

Now superseded by the block editor. The original problem seems to have been fixed some time ago even for themes that don't add max-width.
