Description
In the previous versions there would be a built in 'light box' effect when the Image Details | Display Settings | Link To | was set to 'none'.
When viewing the post and clicking on the image would produce a light box effect to open the image to a larger format for viewing. This function seems to be broken now.

WordPress doesn't have a built-in lightbox effect. Which indicates that it's likely a theme or plugin which you're using that adds that functionality.
I'd suggest heading over to the support forums where someone will be able to help. If it was found to be a core change that caused the change, feel free to re-open.
