Make wpautop documentation more verbose

Reported by: ericlewis's profile ericlewis Owned by: drewapicture's profile DrewAPicture
Milestone: 4.2 Priority: normal
Severity: normal Version: 4.2
Component: Formatting Keywords: has-patch
Focuses: docs Cc:

To help myself understand what's going on in wpautop, I added some more verbose documentation. Others for whom regex is a second language may also benefit.

31041.patch looks pretty good and still applies fine.

@azaozz: Can you pretty please take a look at the new docs for this just for a sanity check, then recommend commit or iteration? :-)

In 31852:

Add more verbose inline documentation inside of wpautop() to more clearly explain what's going on.

Props ericlewis, johneckman, azaozz.
