As noted in comment:5:ticket:26886 and comment:11:ticket:26886, the string is merged back together before being split by commas and processed, so the 128 character limit shouldn't make a difference.

Let's continue the discussion in #26886.

    11So, I came across this ticket that was marked Closed and I'm unsure what me reopening it will actually do hence I'm making this ticket for WordPress 4.1 but the "issue" still remains.
