Shiny Updates: Language packs updates

WP 4.1: There is also language packs update triggered and users are notified what was updated.

Current trunk: There is only message "Updated!" and nobody knows if language packs update was also triggered and which languages were updated?

I don't see this a bug and voting for a wontifx. Basically because translation upates are something I don't want to bother users with. See also ticket:28199:7.

No problem, I only wanted to ask because it seems strange to me, that this info is still displayed (plugin install) and now it is hidden in Shiny Updates without any explanation if language packs are also updated.

• Are language packs updates triggered during Shiny Updates?

• Is output of Shiny Updates (message "Updated!") filterable (so I can add info about what language was also updated)?

I agree with @oceon90 on this. I don't see translation updates are something a user needs to be burdened with. Updates are updates and updated is updated.

Yes, but "Updated" bellow selected plugin can also mean that was updated language pack for some other plugin or theme or WordPress. Users should know it, I guess (and I would like to know it also). And that is why "Updated" is really misleading in this case...

As a user, I would like to know that, if I'm about to run Plugin updates AND I see there also are language updates, these also get updated.
Just a short hint in the meaning ("When you update your plugins, WordPress will update available language files automatically with them") would be nice here.
