Description

I am not a developer, but I believe you have a problem with updates in the new version.

Three of my plugins wouldn't update right after I updated to the new version. One, WPTouch Pro, which I use for my mobile website, showed a quick message at the bottom of the page (which I couldn't read well because it flew past though I could read my website name in it). It never said it was updating, nor did it say it was updated. Later, I went back to it and it had updated. I verified I had the latest version with WPTouch support.

The other two plugins were Pinterest Pin It Button Lite, which is hosted by WordPress, and Pinterest Article Rich Pins, which is supported by the plugin developer.

The Pinterest button lite update immediately failed; the article rich pins kept acting like it would update and it never would. I closed out of my WordPress site and came back awhile later. Both updated (had green update) but then suddenly said the updates had failed. Tried to update again and got the same thing I got the first time I tried to update. A day later, they were updated.

Something is wrong...

Without steps to reproduce, and/or debug data, it's impossible to suggest what could've gone wrong here.

This is quite possibly covered in #32465, #32435, or #32473
