Shiny Updates: Displays Updated message but is not actually updated.

I tried to update plugins whose update was available. When I tried to update from this page plugins.php?plugin_status=upgrade it says plugin is updated. But actually plugin is not updated. Check screenshot-1.png.

Also I tried to update using Bulk Actions, it gave following error. Check screenshot-2.png. I believe actual error should be displayed when trying to update using AJAX.

Thanks for contributing this. I think, as you mentioned on #32086, that this is a duplicate report. I've added some comments over there.

Can I just check that you got your plugin update done OK? Or do you still need help with that?
