Description
Apparently only CSS files appear in the files list of the theme editor (/wp-admin/theme-editor.php) : PHP files do not show up, even though they are chmoded correctly (666).

In Theme Editor with theme WordPress default selected, I see in the list searchform.php and many other php files. I am able to select them and view the file's contents.
dtc please "Also include information about your platform, such as operating system, web server softrware, PHP version, MySQL version etc."

Additionally, I wonder how a general problem like this could go unreported? As that is very unlikely, I would consider searching further here and at http://wordpress.org/support to look for clues, and if nothing is found seek help at http://wordpress.org/support
