Create new dashicons faq

I would find a faq icon very useful.

There is only ( ? dashicons-editor-help or dashicons-admin-comments ) icons available, I want this icon or something similar to this

Interesting idea, but I don't think such an icon would be used much. Almost no icon library has a FAQ icon, they all use the question mark. So why should Dashicons have one?

And, my apologies, I originally misinterpreted your request, I thought you were looking for a frequently asked questions reference page so I linked you to that page, but you were actually requesting an FAQ icon ;)

I was working on some project and I need different icons, I already used help icon now there is no way I differentiate with icons and I thought instead of using custom css or png icons this is the place to add new to extend the library itself. any ways thanks!

Generally speaking, we steer clear of adding letters to icons as they don't always translate well. Just something to consider with this request. We should probably close it in favor of adding new requests to #30902 as @liljimmi mentioned.

Going to close this for now. I also agree that we should try to exclude words/acronyms from icons, but if you're super passionate about exploring an FAQ icon without letters, you can create a new issue here: ​https://github.com/WordPress/dashicons/issues
