WordPress News in Dashboard shows all of Matt's posts, including off topic content. Pull feed specific to only posts with tag or category of WordPress.

The WordPress News widget pulls the feed from ​https://planet.wordpress.org/, which is maintained by Matt. Per the Planet sidebar, you need to ​contact Matt directly to discuss content.
