Updating Page/Post UI

Description

Please add a visual feedback image/text to indicate that the page is being updated when adding or editing a post/page. Most of us run multiple plugins and most likely a framework on shared hosting meaning increased processing time. Clients or staff hit update/publish and there is no visual queue that the process is happening or has finished.

Thanks!

Thanks for the report, xyzbytes.

There's a spinner that appears next to the Publish / Save Draft button that does just this.

Hello,
I know there is a spinner on that part of the page. For a standard user of WP they will either not notice it or they will try to complete another action while the page is being updated. This increases the server requests and slows down the editing/updating process. It would be great to have a large visual overlay in the middle of the page indicating that the page is being processed and at the same time disable any additional button or click inputs until the task has been completed.

Thank you for your consideration.
