initial v1 5 5 Consider this. The standard post type displays a url of: domain.com/example while a custom post type displays a url of: domain.com/cpt/example 6 6 7 Notice, the standard post type is not domain.com/**post**/example. 7 Notice, the standard post type is not domain.com/**post**/example. Neither is a standard page domain.com/**page**/example 8 8 9 9 So why not extend that same functionality to so many of us who need it?
