fix broken re-auth loop (due to expired session)

Happened today. Was writing a post. A lightbox popped up saying my session was expired. Filled in my creds, submitted and got a 406 error. Tried closing the lightbox - it just popped up again. Tried submitting again. Eventually, had to login into the admin area in a different tab, and only then the login lightbox stopped popping up.

What scares me is there wasn't even an option to save my edit. Luckily nothing got lost.
