#35843 closed defect (bug) (fixed)

Title attribute in TwentyThirteen footer link

Reported by: garyj's profile GaryJ Owned by: davidakennedy's profile davidakennedy
Milestone: 4.5 Priority: normal
Severity: normal Version:
Component: Bundled Theme Keywords: has-patch title-attribute
Focuses: accessibility Cc:

The TwentyThirteen footer contains a link that has a title attribute. Like the same reasons title attributes have been removed from the WP admin, it serves little purpose on the front-end, and sets a bad example.

This link appears on some/all WordCamp sites too.

Since Twenty Thirteen is not bundled with core by default anymore, i.e. it could be updated easily in the themes directory.
