Hi There
I tried to put some XML code in my website and Edit Page under 'Text'. In order to show the <> tags, I put <xmp> tag, but when I switch to 'Visual' and come back. The <xmp> tags are gone and the entire XML <> tags disapperred

Hi @liyangddd. Thanks for creating the ticket, and apologies that it's taken a while for a response.
XMP has been deprecated for quite some time (since HTML 3.2 in 1997 - https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/xmp), so this isn't a feature WordPress would support. It's also not entirely clear what the use-case is for using XML.
I'm closing this ticket as something that won't be addressed. I realise a lot of time has passed too, so it's likely you no longer have a requirement for this to be supported.
