Subdomain MultiSite admin site icon not checking for SSL

Hi,

The Site Icon's images aren't checking for SSL on a MultiSite subdomain when accessing /wp-admin/.

However, this is not always the case. So I assume there's some variable check going on, at some place, which prevents this check from happening.
