Media Settings page description is unclear

Description

The media settings reads the following:

"The sizes listed below determine the maximum dimensions in pixels to use when adding an image to the Media Library."

I saw a Facebook in Advanced WordPress where someone expected images uploaded to be converted to these dimensions in ALL cases.
But the full picture will still remain in the uploaded dimensions, of course.

New WordPress / non-developers will probably understand this differently so I'd think a description like this would be better:

"The sizes listed below determine the maximum dimensions in pixels to use for displaying cropped images."

Or something in that direction?
