Description
The help relative to the content of the mail sent to a new user is not correct (see lines 178 and 179 in the wp-admin/user_new.php file). If the wp_new_user_notification function (wp-includes/pluggable.php) is not overwritten by any plugin, checking the checkbox will send a mail asking the new user to set himself his password. The new password is not sent with the message.

Edited the help language to improve accuracy:
New users are automatically assigned a password, which they can change after logging in. You can view or edit the assigned password by clicking the Show Password button. The username cannot be changed.
By default, new users will receive an email letting them know they’ve been added as a user for your site. This email will also contain a password reset link. Uncheck the box if you don’t want to send the new user a welcome email.
