Description

Hello,

I am having an issue with the new version 4.5.2. After upgrading the grid view is not working in the Media Library. If I switch to list view I can see my media files.

I also am getting a error when I try to upload images to the folder. I just get "An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later."

I checked the permission on the folder and those are correct. I have also looked around to see if anyone else is having this issue but didn't find it for version 4.5.2. I found that version 4.3 had this issue but was fixed.

Any thoughts?

Hi @tcarter208,

Thanks for the report and welcome to Trac. Another person reported a similar issue with 4.5.1 (ticket number #36777), which ended up being an error based on their hosting provider's ini_set() settings. It's possible that you're running into the same issue.

Just to be sure, can you see if this is still a problem after disabling all your plugins and activating a default theme (e.g. Twenty Sixteen)? Also, check to see if this happens in several browsers or just one and see if there are any error messages in your browser's javascript console.

Thanks for the help Joe, Turns out it is the theme. when I switch to Twenty Sixteen it works perfectly.
