Description
After updating a couple of sites to Version 4.6, the Windows 10 partial search option on image uploads no longer works. Side by side comparison between current 4.6 version and site with previous version, images will upload for selection after partial search term on site with previous version, will NOT work on site updated with 4.6. Typing an "*" at the end of the partial search term in the search bar does not work either. I have only updated a few sites with 4.6 and am having partial search issues on every one. Will not update other sites until issue has been resolved. Example attached.

Hi there, and welcome to Trac!
Unfortunately, this doesn't appear to be a WordPress issue, but rather an indexing issue in Windows (keep in mind that windows indexes are not ran all the time, they are on a timer, and as such newly uploaded content may not be indexed instantly).
As it's a Windows thing, and not a WordPress one, I'll mark this ticket as invalid, but should you find anything that indicates that WordPress' image handling is somehow messing up file data, feel free to let us know :)
