Description

All the pages in the root have wp- extensions why just not remove them all once for all so it gets more clean ??, wp-db.php in includes and wp-admin.css in admin...

  • Status changed from new to closed

Removing these would break lots of existing installs and make upgrades much more difficult.

I don't see a big benefit to these changes

Further, the prefix eases putting WordPress in web root directory. Though not my thing, I have seen many installations like this.
