Page names not visible

Description

Using WordPress 4.7-alpha-38726, I cannot see page titles. When going to post/page edit screen, the title is there and the slug is there.

Does it still happen with all plugins disabled and a default theme activated?

I guess it's my fault for not testing it properly, but it happened after a WordPress update, so I assumed it was related to that.

I traced it to a rogue add_filter() in one of the plugins.
