Insert Media > Attachment Display Settings > Select

Description

Silly me struggle to take a screen shot. Sorry.

In any case, I used the 'image_size_names_choose' filter to add size options to the Insert Media > Attachment Display Settings > Select. When the Insert Media modal opens it's more or less full screen. If my browser is also full screen (as opposed to some smaller area) the select ends up in the lower right and when I open it to select the list goes off the screen. I can't see nor select some of the sizes.

Does that make sense?

Hi @ChiefAlchemist,

Thanks for the report. Screen shots would indeed be helpful, but I think I understand you to say that the select options are extending beyond the screen. Can you share which browser you're using and what your screen resolution is?

Thanks,
Joe

Hey Joe - Yeah. The select is in the lower right. The normal 3 or 4 options don't extend that far down when it's open. However, when I append 5 (?) to that list the lower couple are essentially off the screen.

Win 10. Chrome (I presume auto-updated to latest version.)

LMK if you need anything else. I'll muck with the screen shot again if you can reproduce. Thx.

  • Keywords has-screenshots added; needs-patch removed
  • Version4.7.3

I tried reproducing this on Windows 10/Chrome. I do not see this behavior. It works properly for me.

With the default image sizes, the list drops down and I expected it to go out of window when I added more image sizes.

But after addition of more image sizes, the list expanded upwards and hence this issue is not seen.
